You may notice your child is unable to sit still for even a few minutes, become tired of walking quickly, or struggle to hold items. This is because between the ages of 4 - 6 they have very low muscle tone in their bodies.

We help your child develop strong muscles that make the everyday skill set easier and more enjoyable, both for you and them!

Following directions & mental processing

Does your child struggle to follow directions or seem to “tune out” halfway through instructions? Often, this isn’t about listening—it’s about processing. When kids receive multiple steps or new information, their brains have to quickly organize, prioritize, and act on what they’ve heard.

At Touchstone, we train your child’s ability to process information under pressure. Through martial arts drills, pattern recognition, and instructor cues, students strengthen focus, reaction time, and cognitive control—helping them listen better, think faster, and respond with confidence both on and off the mat.

Bravery & Confidence

Every child feels uncertain sometimes—especially when facing something new. At Touchstone, we help kids turn those nervous moments into opportunities for growth. Through structured challenges, supportive coaching, and small victories on the mat, students learn to face fears with courage and pride.
